Flying Tigers

P-40B Tomahawks of the American Volunteer Group, flying in nationalist Chinese markings, dive on two Japanese Zeros. Exploiting their one advantage to the full over the otherwise superior aircraft the Tomahawks will continue to dive to complete their escape. Rugged construction added to the diving speed contributed to the A.V.G.'s successes against a more agile opponent who, when allowed to dog-fight on his terms was deadly.
